About the Role:

As an advocate for research-driven insights, the Research Effectiveness Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping JCDecaux's market research and advertising effectiveness studies. This position involves project management, ensuring high-quality ongoing research solutions, as well as scoping new opportunities to demonstrate the impact of Out-of-Home advertising.

The ideal candidate will have experience within research or insights, gained in either agency, media owner, or client-side environments. A background in advertising measurement and effectiveness, or a passion for learning further about this field, is highly desirable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support ad-hoc JCDecaux research requirements, working closely with the Group Manager
  • Develop, manage, and execute JCDecaux PROOF, our program of significant Out-of-Home effectiveness studies
  • Establish relationships with research suppliers and agencies
  • Build research presentations and present findings to clients
  • Localise international research projects from JCDecaux's global network
  • Maintain a library of case studies for access by the wider business
  • Regularly support the marketing team with data, research, and insights
  • Ideate research innovation and scope complex methodologies like Media Mix Modelling
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods, including survey writing
  • Data/numeric literacy – comfortable with large data sets
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • High-level competency in written and verbal communication
  • Internal and external relationship building
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or equivalent
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • A passion for advertising effectiveness and the media industry
