Role Overview

Euromonitor International is seeking a highly skilled Market Analyst to join our Sydney research team. As a key member of our Multi-vertical regional team, you will contribute to the development of research and commercial initiatives across various industries, including Food & Nutrition, Drinks & Tobacco, Beauty & Fashion, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Collaborate with trade associations, companies, and internal Euromonitor associates to develop insights into research objectives. Leverage in-house resources and external publisher data to gain a comprehensive understanding of the market landscape.
  • Data Analytics: Validate market data, including company and brand information, and synthesize complex information from multiple sources into clear takeaways and actionable insights.
  • Market Consulting: Provide market consulting based on client objectives, including guidance on go-to-market and market entry strategies, pricing tactics, new product development, channel optimization, and competitor analysis.
  • Client Engagement: Understand business challenges through regular client engagement, build trust, and long-term relationships through insights-driven conversations.
  • Project Execution: Ensure project execution excellence by reviewing generated materials, validating data and analysis, and aligning them with client objectives.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience of 2 to 5 years in FMCG research space
  • Proven track record in primary and secondary research
  • Superb numeracy and analytical skills
  • Creativity, tenacity, and curiosity
  • Opinionated, able to make decisions, and willing to take responsibility for decisions made
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent oral and written English
