Job Profile:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team of emergency responders in South West Rocks. As an Auxiliary Firefighter, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides support during fire and other emergency incidents.

About the Role:
  • You will work closely with a team of experienced firefighters to respond to emergency incidents
  • Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through education and outreach activities
  • Develop and maintain competencies through regular drills and training courses
  • Maintain attendance standards for emergency incidents and training
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status
  • Manual C Class driver's licence
  • Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable)
  • Live or work within a reasonable distance of the auxiliary fire station
