About the Project:

The John Hunter Health Campus redevelopment involves enhancing facilities and expanding capacity to meet growing healthcare demands in Greater Newcastle and northern NSW. This includes the new Acute Services Building (ASB) and refurbishments to the existing hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise construction activities and ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and manage daily site operations effectively.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Assist in labour forecasting requirements to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Evaluate and mitigate potential health and safety risks on-site.
  • Maintain open communication with staff and contractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and goods within agreed budgets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize productivity and quality outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a licensed electrician.
  • Proven track record of working on similar projects and demonstrating leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and drive results-oriented performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in achieving defect-free projects completed on time and within budget.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
