Job Title: Forest Resource Assessment Professional
">This is a mid-senior level full-time position in the education, research and science sector. The role involves leading forest resource assessments using remote sensing and participatory GIS mapping to develop investment frameworks for sustainable forestry.
">The successful candidate will collaborate with project investigators, contribute to high-impact publications, and present findings at conferences and seminars. They will also liaise with industry partners and government bodies to ensure practical relevance of research outcomes.
">This role requires strong GIS and remote sensing skills, as well as the ability to design and implement field-based research programs while collaborating effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
">The ideal candidate will have a PhD in forest ecology or a related field and demonstrated experience in GIS, remote sensing, or participatory mapping. They will also possess a track record of publishing research in relevant areas, commensurate with their experience.
