
Forensic Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Nurse Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex cases and contribute to the development of forensic intervention services in Victoria.
You will be responsible for delivering best-practice care and support to individuals with histories of violent and sexual offending, working closely with other professionals to reduce re-offending and improve community safety.
This role offers a range of challenges and opportunities for professional growth and development, including ongoing training and education, mentorship, and supervision.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced mental health nurse who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make a positive contribution to our team.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Conduct clinical interviews and provide evidence-based treatment interventions
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective case management and coordination
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses
- A strong understanding of mental health nursing principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively in a team and build relationships with colleagues and clients
- A high level of autonomy and self-motivation
