Job Description

Deliver Best-Practice Forensic Intervention

In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment. You will use the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model to provide individualized services, including comprehensive assessments, clinical interviews, treatment interventions, and preparing treatment plans and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments;
  • Deliver clinical interviews to determine appropriate treatment pathways;
  • Implement treatment interventions using evidence-based assessment tools;
  • Provide treatment programs involving individual and group sessions;
  • Prepare treatment plans, treatment reports, and risk assessment reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements

Critical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Registered as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses;
  • Current driver licence.
