Section Manager Program Delivery Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Section Manager to lead our Capital Renewal and Road Maintenance programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that renewal and maintenance works are carried out to the required standard, identifying and monitoring current levels of service, and making recommendations for future needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or a related field, with experience in project management and team leadership. They will optimise business outcomes through initiating and developing long-term goals and plans in line with organisational objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Ensure renewal and maintenance works meet required standards
    • Identify and monitor current service levels, make recommendations for future needs
    • Liaise with public, business, and authorities on matters including emergencies
    • Provide quality customer service, create value for community
    • Demonstrate accountability by implementing safe work practices

As a senior leader, this role provides day-to-day leadership to a team of professionals responsible for maximising return on road and drainage assets. This individual will identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies to enhance performance, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
