The role of Section Manager Program Delivery is responsible for the management of Capital Renewal Program Delivery and maintenance of road maintenance activities on the urban Regional road network and minor contract delivery for State Roads.

As a senior leader, the Section Manager Program Delivery will provide day-to-day leadership to a team of professionals responsible for maximising the return on road and drainage assets and will optimise business outcomes through initiating and developing goals and plans to guide the work of the team in line with organisational objectives.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

**Key activities of this role include**:

- Ensure renewal and maintenance works are carried out to the required standard with correct techniques and procedures and in accordance with budget provisions;
- Identify and monitor the current level of service and make recommendations regarding the best mix of service to address future needs;
- Liaise with members of the public, business and other authorities on matters including during after-hours emergencies;
- Demonstrate commitment to customer service by taking responsibility for delivering high quality services that result in a positive community impact;
- Demonstrate accountability by identifying and implementing safe work practices, taking a systematic risk management approach to ensure the health and safety of self and others.

**About You**:

- You will be Degree qualified in Engineering or related field OR have extensive experience in a similar role;
- You will be a proven leader, capable of building customer focused teams that deliver quality outcomes;
- You will experienced in Project Management delivering renewal and maintenance programs within budget;
- You will be skilled in optimising business outcomes through initiating and developing long-term goals and plans in line with organisational objectives;
- You enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise, while also learning from others.

This role provides an attractive remuneration package of up to $174K per annum dependent on skills and experience (inclusive of 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance) + 10.5% Superannuation.

A vehicle is provided for official duties and private use leaseback in accordance with Council's Vehicle Policy. Alternately a vehicle allowance of $165 per week ($8,580 per annum) is also an available option.

A 19 day month work-cycle currently applies to this role.
