About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior People & Culture Advisor to join our team at Boss Energy Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing business, contributing to the development of a values-driven culture.

The successful candidate will provide support and guidance on people and culture matters, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. This role will be based at our Honeymoon mine site in South Australia, with a FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) arrangement from Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Life Cycle Management: Administer the employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, promotion, and exit processes.
  • Payroll and Finance Support: Work closely with the finance team to submit monthly payroll inputs and ensure accurate and timely payment.
  • People-Related Matters: Facilitate people-related matters, such as grievances and disciplinaries, and provide support for conducting workplace investigations.
  • Safety and Wellbeing: Support the Safety team with workers' compensation matters and contribute to implementing systems and processes that promote a psychologically safe working environment.
  • Legislative Compliance: Provide advice on relevant legislation, enterprise agreements, and Awards to ensure compliance and best practice.
  • Culture Development: Champion the Boss Energy culture journey, supporting leaders and people in developing a value-driven culture.
  • Talent Management: Implement group initiatives on site relating to talent management, leadership development, performance management, diversity, and inclusion, and wellbeing.
  • Communication Strategy: Implement and maintain the communication strategy on site, ensuring effective communication and engagement with all stakeholders.
  • Team Environment: Contribute positively to the team environment, fostering open communication and actively seeking feedback.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with leaders across the site.
  • Personal Growth: Participate in development opportunities, coaching conversations, and take responsibility for own personal growth.
  • Remuneration Review: Administer the annual remuneration review process on site.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Essential experience working in a remote site environment.
  • Experience with HR systems, particularly with Employment Hero, would be advantageous.
  • Strong ability to establish and maintain trust relationships.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passionate about the people and culture function, with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop people.
