About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Corporate Finance function at Power and Water Corporation, a dynamic and evolving organization in the Northern Territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the external audit program and manage statutory financial reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on the corporation's financial health, including long-term financing, borrowing decisions, and regulatory alignment.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial systems, ledgers, and reports, while driving continuous improvement across the finance function.
  • Build capability within the Finance and Business Services team, focusing on talent management and succession planning.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to set performance targets, assist in budgeting, and provide strategic financial guidance.

You are a strategic leader with a proven track record in accounting and financial management, ideally within a regulated or asset-intensive environment.

Your experience includes leading teams through change, managing complex financial systems, and navigating regulatory requirements.

With superior leadership skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, you are adept at influencing senior stakeholders, creating solutions, and driving sustainable change.
