Chief Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a diligent and proactive payroll professional to join our dedicated team in Adelaide.
About the Role:
- Manage end-to-end payroll services, ensuring accurate and timely payments for our organisation and its subsidiaries.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues promptly, escalating complex matters as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements.
- Handle complex payroll matters including terminations, redundancies, and specialised entitlements.
- Analyse data using HRIS and reporting skills to support improvements.
- Prepare and submit statutory payroll reports, including Single Touch Payroll (STP), payroll tax, superannuation contributions, and compliance audits.
- Support the Payroll Manager and HR Reporting Lead when needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration with your team to deliver high-quality payroll services.
About You:
- A detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll software, including Single Touch Payroll (STP).
