About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National WHSEQ Advisor to join our team at JCDecaux. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in fostering a strong safety culture within our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Field and Office-Based Education and Leadership Programs: Develop and implement comprehensive education and training programs to ensure a strong safety culture across our organization.
  • Assist in WHSEQ Assurance Activities: Collaborate with Senior Contractor Management teams to deliver WHSEQ assurance activities, including risk management processes, incident investigation, and corrective action close-out.
  • Conduct Field-Based Assurance Exercises: Conduct regular workplace inspections and behavioral interventions to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
  • Support the Development of Educational Packages: Assist in the creation and delivery of educational packages in both office and field-based settings to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Assist in Delivery of Objectives and Targets: Work with Operational Managers to ensure successful reaccreditation across all applicable ISO and AS/NZS standards.
  • Support the Wider WHSEQ Team: Collaborate with the WHSEQ team to manage Worker's Compensation claims and provide ongoing support to Return to Work Coordinators.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who has a genuine passion for safety and a strong background in WHS. You will have:

  • Qualification in Work Health and Safety or Related Discipline: A recognized qualification in WHS or a related field, such as Allied Health with occupational experience in WHS.
  • Experience in Risk Management and Compliance: Proven experience in identifying and mitigating safety risks, as well as developing and implementing compliance programs.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including employees, contractors, and senior management.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
