Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Researcher to join our team at the Australian Defence Force Malaria and Infectious Disease Institute (ADFMIDI). As a Medical Researcher, you will contribute to the development of new treatments and vaccines for infectious diseases, working closely with our team of experts in drug resistance, diagnostics, and clinical studies.

About the Role: As a Medical Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting research in infectious diseases, including malaria, and developing new treatments and vaccines. You will work closely with our team of experts in drug resistance, diagnostics, and clinical studies to identify new opportunities for research and development. You will also be responsible for communicating your research findings to our team and contributing to the development of new policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in infectious diseases, including malaria
  • Develop new treatments and vaccines for infectious diseases
  • Work closely with our team of experts in drug resistance, diagnostics, and clinical studies
  • Communicate research findings to our team and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in medical research, including experience in conducting research in infectious diseases. You will also need to have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
