Financial Administrator

UGL is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Cost Administrator to join our Corporate Team in Perth.
This role will support the Finance Lead by managing cost administration, focusing on invoicing, reporting, month-end tasks, and contract administration.
The primary objectives are invoicing and lump sum performance analysis, along with daily assistance to the Finance Lead and Project Accountants.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze financial data related to costs and expenditures.
- Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports for several lump sum projects.
- Assist with end of month processes and financial reporting within required deadlines and to required levels of accuracy.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure cost control measures are in place.
- Review and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage and reconcile Work in Progress (WIP) balances effectively
- Maintain financial records and documentation in an organized and accessible manner.

Ideally, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration desirable.
- Proven experience as a Finance Cost Administrator or similar role in a project environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $80,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
