This role is based at our headquarters, with a network of stores here in SA, and others coming soon. We're an independent business, doing exciting things right here in SA.

About the role:

We are looking for a values-driven Warehouse Stock Manager to lead warehouse operations with heart, high energy, and a commitment to process.

This is a hands-on leadership role managing the full lifecycle of stock—from incoming deliveries and store allocations to warehouse organization and inventory management—while leading a team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching, and inspiring an engaged team culture.
  • Planning daily workflows for all warehouse stock functions, supporting the team to deliver accuracy and efficiency metrics, while embodying company values.
  • Maintaining a well-organized and optimized warehouse, managing stock integrity and accuracy, including stock takes and minimizing stock loss, compliance, and data-driven results.
  • Partnering with stores and fulfillment teams to ensure customers receive the right stock at the right time.
  • Staying engaged and knowledgeable about products, industry trends, and market developments.
  • Driving improvements in systems and processes.
  • Managing rosters, attendance, team availability, and policy & procedure compliance.
  • Contributing to broader business strategy and accessing unique learning opportunities.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A passion for process and accuracy, understanding that well-managed stock underpins exceptional customer experiences.
  2. An ability to love our products, particularly cute baby items and Jellycats.
  3. Experience as an experienced leader who coaches, inspires, and develops a team with professionalism and care.
  4. A positive attitude, high energy, and a willingness to foster a joyful, engaged, high-performing warehouse culture.
  5. Confident communication skills, listening well, empowering others, and providing clear direction and constructive feedback.
  6. Commercial acumen, resilience, and solution-focused approach, balancing team wellbeing, operational efficiency, and data-driven results.
  7. Accountability, organization, and adaptability, with great attention to detail, planning skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership of stock operations.
  8. Physical fitness, able to perform repetitive heavy lifting and manual work in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
