Radiology Workflow Expert

This role plays a vital part in ensuring efficient radiologist workflow coordination across NSW hospital contracts.

As the Radiology Workflow Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and optimizing daily radiologist workflows to meet reporting KPIs for NSW hospital contracts.
  • Building relationships with radiologists, hospital staff, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Troubleshooting RIS/PACS and workflow issues, escalating to vendors or internal IT teams when required.
  • Proactively managing workload distribution, monitoring unreported lists, and supporting backlog solutions.
  • Analyzing workflow and contract performance data to support planning and reporting and assist with implementation and support of workflow tools and systems.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience working in a radiology clinic (minimum 2 years in a clinical, clerical, or administration role).
  • A strong understanding of radiology workflows and IT systems (RIS/PACS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • An analytical mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and working with performance data.
