About the Role
  • You will provide expert medical assessment and management of patients within the department.
  • The primary location of this position may be varied as agreed with the Director of Medical Services and as approved by relevant authorities to other facilities in the healthcare network.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care through effective leadership and mentorship.
  • Contribute to service development and advancement of interventional radiology within the hospital environment.
  • Provide effective guidance and support to junior medical staff while demonstrating a commitment to teaching and education.
Requirements
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the national medical board.
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists with completed fellowship in Interventional Radiology and/or equivalent specialist recognition.
  • Evidence of continuing medical education and self-audit practices consistent with the scope of practice requirements of the position.
  • Proven capacity and experience in providing effective, high-quality services in the specialty.
