Job Summary:

We're looking for a skilled professional to safely transport mixed mining freight to customer mine sites in the southern Bowen Basin and operate forklifts at our Emerald terminal.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely deliver goods to customer mine sites
  • Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers
  • Securely restrain freight loads using dogs, chains, straps & binders
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing the organization professionally

Key Requirements:

  • A commitment to safety in all activities;
  • Forklift license is essential
  • MC license preferred, HC/ HR license considered
  • A good understanding of load restraint techniques for mining freight
  • Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, NHVR fatigue, and road transport regulations
  • Good communication and customer service skills
