Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Operator - Load Restraint Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused driver to join our team in the southern Bowen Basin. As a Heavy Vehicle Operator, you will be responsible for safely delivering mixed mining freight to customer mine sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely deliver freight to customer mine sites
  • Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers
  • Securely restrain freight loads using dogs and chains, straps & binders

Requirements:

  • A commitment to safety in everything you do
  • Forklift license is essential
  • MC license preferred, HC/ HR license considered
  • Good understanding of load restraint techniques for mining freight
  • Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, NHVR fatigue, and road transport regulations
