Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the reliability and performance of computer systems and networks
  • Configure, integrate, and deploy PCs, software, and peripherals
  • Administer and troubleshoot network and security infrastructure
  • Manage internet connectivity and troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues
  • Administer servers and workstations, ensuring they are properly maintained and in good working condition
  • Install and configure Windows Server 2012 R2, DHCP, and DNS
  • Take weekly and monthly server/network backups
  • Install software updates and license keys on servers
  • Identify faults and errors through network audits and recommend security controls
  • Provide technical support to users and clients
  • Provide orientation, training, and application support to new starters
  • Manage active directory and provide support for mobile technologies
  • Configure and maintain phone systems and printers/scanners/faxes
  • Prepare and update training manuals and workflow guides
  • Manage web-site/intranet content and develop monthly data reports

Requirements:

  1. Diploma or higher-level qualifications in Information Technology or a relevant field
  2. Recent minimum of three years of relevant experience as a computer network engineer
  3. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Problem-solving skills and experience with diagnostics
  6. Good oral communication skills
  7. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
