Opportunity Overview

As Field Team Manager, you will lead a team of 18 Field Operatives servicing the CBD and West Regions of Greater Melbourne. You will oversee day-to-day operations, schedule resources, interface with customers, implement strategies for improvement, and work closely with other managers to meet and exceed commercial contractual requirements.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people leader to join our team. As Field Team Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the State Operations Director to ensure strategic and business objectives are achieved
  • Overseeing daily operations, ensuring effective management of the team, productivity, and quality
  • Leading, mentoring, and inspiring our diverse team
  • Enhancing current processes and procedures while seeking new opportunities for improvement
  • Working with the Operations Performance Manager to ensure SLAs are met
  • Playing a pivotal role in attracting, retaining, and developing key personnel, ensuring the team is equipped to deliver contractual requirements
  • Collaborating closely with other team managers to ensure optimal performance
  • Ability to create, read, and analyze data and reports
  • Continuously driving and promoting safety at work by ensuring the team has the information, instruction, training, and supervision required

About You

We are looking for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in operational efficiency and team leadership. Your extensive operational expertise should be complemented by sound decision-making and critical thinking skills. You must also possess exceptional recruitment skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and the ability to foster strong relationships within the team.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on experience and location.
