Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on asteroseismology, focusing on solar-like oscillations and their applications.
  • Design and implement novel data analysis methods to extract valuable insights from large datasets.
  • Publish your findings in prominent scientific journals and present at national and international conferences, furthering the field of stellar astrophysics.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and contribute to mentoring/supervision of graduate students and Honours students, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • Hold a PhD in Astrophysics, with a strong emphasis on stellar astrophysics and asteroseismology.
  • Bring experience in advanced data analysis and/or stellar modeling, particularly in the realm of stellar astrophysics and asteroseismology.
  • Demonstrate an impressive research track record, evident through conference presentations and publications that showcase your expertise in the discipline.
