Enhance workforce capability through impactful learning programs and initiatives as a key member of our People and Culture team.

This role oversees the Learning Management System, Induction and Onboarding, and coordination of trainee, apprenticeship, and graduate programs to ensure employees are equipped for success.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business, Training or related field, and/or extensive experience in a similar Learning and Development role.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate, implement and monitor corporate training throughout Council.
  • Coverage of trainee, apprenticeship, and graduate programs, including sourcing and management of training employment incentives and training-related claims.
  • Selection and development of training materials, training delivery formats, and providers to meet and continuously improve Council's training, competency, and capability programs.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop a relevant and engaging Corporate Training Plan based on strategic, organisational and individual needs.

Foster a culture of trust, achievement, and continuous learning by driving strategies that support employee growth and development.

Working hours: 70 hours a fortnight. Salary details available upon request.
