Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role will oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with QBCC regulations and trust accounting practices.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed financial reports in compliance with QBCC standards.
- Managing end-of-year processes such as PAYG summaries, trust accounting, and compliance audits.
- Ensuring cash flow stability and preparing annual budgets, with a focus on trust account management.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
You are a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong track record in financial management, particularly in the construction industry. To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, along with CA/CPA qualifications.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position, including expertise in QBCC regulations and trust accounting.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on maintaining accuracy and compliance in financial matters.
