About the Role:

This position contributes to financial outcomes by developing strategic settlement processes. The role involves coaching and mentoring claims staff on negotiation and settlement techniques, as well as working with legal providers to achieve fair outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing strategies for early and effective settlement negotiations\
  • Supporting business areas to assess entitlement and risk\
  • Providing high-quality settlement advice and action\
  • Identifying matters where reputational risks exist or sensitive matters are identified\
  • Supporting strategic claims management\
  • Assisting with regulatory requirements and reviews\
  • Proactively identifying business improvement opportunities\
  • Providing training and support to case managers\

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in conducting settlement conferences\
  • Extensive technical knowledge in CTP personal injury claims\
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills\
  • Solid business acumen and data management experience\
