Job Opportunity

This role is situated within an engaging program that provides fun, safe and rewarding activities for students from kindergarten to Year 6.

The service operates a before and after school care program as well as vacation care. If you are successful in this position, you will be placed in the Casual talent pool where you have the opportunity to assist other services in the area.

As an educator, your primary responsibility will be to provide quality education and care to children, facilitating their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the supervision of children and guarantee their safety at all times
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the children
  • Participate in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the centre
  • Develop relationships with families and children throughout the centre
Requirements:
  • Be passionate about working with children across various age groups
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework – My Time Our Place and the National Quality Framework
  • Have effective communication skills to engage with colleagues, families and community members
  • Believe in promoting a positive team environment and value diversity within the team
