Claims Representative Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Claims Representative to join our team. As a Claims Representative, you will be responsible for managing claims from start to finish, ensuring that they are processed efficiently and effectively.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing an individual caseload of claims through to finalisation
  • Identifying potential recovery action as part of effective claims management
  • Reviewing quotes and authorising repair costs
  • Negotiating settlements for claims
  • Serving as a technical referral point for internal teams
  • Providing empathy and understanding while handling complex conversations
  • Consistently providing service that exceeds member expectations

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Exceptional customer service skills and a high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and strong negotiation skills
  • The ability to gather, collate, and present evidence and make informed decisions
  • The ability to clearly communicate complex processes and decisions to members
  • A results-oriented mindset
  • The ability to work autonomously and be self-driven
  • Experience in claims lodgement and knowledge of end-to-end claims processes
  • Previous experience working within the financial services industry
