Formulation Research and Development Chemist

We are seeking an experienced Formulation Research and Development Chemist to join our team at Eureka, a proud business partner of Elders. As a key member of our product development team, you will play a critical role in enhancing our company's product offerings with your expertise and skills.
As a Formulation Research and Development Chemist, you will be responsible for developing formulations, creating test samples, and scaling up product candidates for production. You will also produce accurate and high-quality written reports documenting research and findings. Additionally, you will conduct quality control testing of finished products, raw materials, in-process materials, and environmental samples to support manufacturing operations.
About the Opportunity
- You will work collaboratively with our laboratory manager to ensure the successful implementation of new products and processes.
- You will maintain laboratory facilities, equipment, and consumables to ensure optimal functionality.
- You will effectively communicate project progress, as well as any issues or risks, to the laboratory manager.
About You
- You hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant science discipline, such as chemistry, pharmaceutical science, or formulation science.
- You possess a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow in your role.
- You demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
- You have proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You exhibit well-developed planning and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- You have the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- You possess strong problem-solving skills, with the capacity to address challenges effectively.
The salary for this position is approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
