Elders Rural is a leading business partner of Eureka, seeking a skilled Formulation Scientist to join our team. Located in Australia, this role offers a competitive salary.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $120,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Formulation Scientist who can enhance our product development with their expertise and skills.

• Develop formulations, create test samples, and scale up product candidates for production.
• Produce accurate and high-quality written reports documenting research and findings.
• Conduct quality control testing of finished products, raw materials, in-process materials, and environmental samples to support manufacturing operations.
• Assist in creating procedures to facilitate the manufacture of new products.
• Effectively communicate project progress, as well as any issues or risks, to the laboratory manager.
• Maintain laboratory facilities, equipment, and consumables to ensure optimal functionality.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant science discipline, such as chemistry, pharmaceutical science, or formulation science.
• A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow in your role.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Well-developed planning and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the capacity to address challenges effectively.
• Experience in a research and development environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with agricultural or veterinary chemicals is an advantage.
