Job Overview

The Three Blue Ducks have implemented ethical and sustainable business practices across all areas of their operations. They work closely with local, honest suppliers who provide the best quality produce.

This role is based on an 80-acre farm and Macadamia Orchard with breathtaking views of the hinterland and Byron's iconic lighthouse.

The Produce Store is an extension of the company's passion for delivering fresh, sustainably-produced goods and local produce to the community. Located within the main entrance hall, The Produce Store stocks a variety of deli items, fresh produce (grown on The Farm and local area) and artisan goods and gifts from the surrounding region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Previous retail supervisory experience is required
  • Responsible for cashier balancing
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service with a smile and confidently manage customer complaints
  • Manage, coordinate and supervise staff rosters & shifts
  • Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
  • Stock management including weekly ordering, receipting and date rotation
  • Management of suppliers, deliveries, invoicing etc
  • Managing product and venue presentation and cleanliness
  • Recruit, train, develop, lead and manage the small team
