About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team. This role will involve scheduling charter work, coordinating daily operations of drivers and vehicles, and ensuring seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to drivers via the Driver's Line and Operations inbox, addressing queries on charter movements, route planning, rostering, driver availability, and operational matters.
  • Schedule school runs, charters, and route services based on customer requirements, ensuring timely execution.
  • Monitor daily charter allocations and vehicle movements to identify potential service failures and take corrective action.
  • Resolve operational shortfalls caused by delays, incidents, or breakdowns through reallocation or sourcing additional vehicles and drivers.
  • Roster drivers based on their competency and availability, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to coordinate scheduled vehicle repair and maintenance, aligning it with asset availability and charter demand.
  • Prepare monthly reports detailing any shortfalls in key performance indicators and associated remedial actions.
  • Conduct retrospective service audits and historical data analysis to identify areas for improvement in cost-effective service delivery.

Experience Needed

We require at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with knowledge of Industry Awards and operating financials.

  • Solid geographical knowledge of the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA.
  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Advanced computer literacy.
Estimated Salary Range:

The estimated salary for this role is between $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
