About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in quality and efficiency across all events, supporting the Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to deliver sales and sponsorship commitments.

  • Coordinating and implementing infrastructure and logistics for multiple shows from pre-show and on-site capacity.
  • Working with the Product team to deliver key show features.
  • Developing and communicating event production schedules and monitoring adherence on-site.
  • Ensuring seamless on-site management, upholding and monitoring Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Liaising with contractors, suppliers, venues, stand builders, tradespeople, security and cleaners.

What We Need From You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Up to 5 years relevant experience in event operations, including knowledge of the events landscape and market complexities.
  • A proven track record of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the events space.
  • Superior project management skills, operational capability to deliver an event on time, and manage multiple contractors simultaneously.
  • Sensational time management, logistics management, and communication skills.
  • A well-developed understanding of legal and contractual requirements and documentation in relation to events management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • A relevant business or tertiary qualification (preferred).
