As a Psychologist, you will be managing a portfolio of clients with psychological or physical injuries in a rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a client portfolio and provide rehabilitation support.
  • Conduct initial assessments and identify suitable goals for clients.
  • Identify barriers preventing clients from returning to work and develop strategies to overcome them.
  • Organise appropriate interventions with stakeholders to facilitate a safe and timely return to work.
  • Provide vocational counselling and conduct vocational assessments to support clients' career goals.
  • Attend medical appointments with clients and communicate effectively with medical professionals regarding diagnoses and treatment.
  • Complete reports after assessments and meetings, documenting case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements.

  • You will work closely with in-house Board-approved supervisors and specialised consultants to ensure high-quality care and support for clients.

Requirements
  • 4th year Psychology Graduate status
  • Associate or Full membership with ASORC as a Rehabilitation Counsellor is required
  • Registration with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist or Psychologist is necessary
  • A Car and valid Driver's license are essential
  • A Police check is required prior to commencement
  • Strong stakeholder relationship-building skills and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
