Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert on-demand support to resolve complex disputes.
  • Work collaboratively with a talented pool of lawyers to deliver outcomes that uphold our commitment to fairness and community service.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, including consumers and financial firms.
  • Exercise impartiality and objectivity in all dealings, ensuring recent professional experience does not create any perception of bias.
  • Maintain professionalism and resilience when handling criticism from consumers and financial firms.
  • Contribute to the development of policy and procedures to drive positive change in the financial sector.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong track record of achievement at a senior level in banking and finance or within a tribunal, EDR scheme, regulatory agency, or related entity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into clear solutions.
  • Knowledge of contract law, insolvency, and securities, with a strong understanding of the financial services sector.
  • Impartiality ensured by recent professional dealings not creating any perception of bias toward financial services industry members or consumers.
