Job Title: Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
We are seeking a Specialist Consultant Psychiatrist - C/A for a Central North QLD hospital. This is a permanent full-time role providing clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, investigation and management of patients over the age of 18 with complex mental health problems.
The hospital has 305 beds and is the main referral hospital in Central Queensland, serving a population of over 250,000. The region offers an outdoor lifestyle with ample sunshine, dining, hiking and leisure opportunities. Housing options include town living, small acreage rural land or large properties for farming and grazing.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, investigation and management of patients over the age of 18 with complex mental health problems.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Psychiatry with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA).
