AIS Job Description
- We are looking for an experienced Therapist Assistant who will provide high-quality care and support to our residents under the guidance of our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing therapy programs, providing mobility and exercise sessions, and leading recreational activities.
- This role requires strong organisational and time management skills, as well as excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or higher/equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role, preferably as an Occupational Therapist Assistant or Physiotherapist Assistant.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead and coach staff to deliver quality lifestyle and therapy activities.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills, with empathy towards our elderly residents.
