Event Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Operations Manager to join our team, responsible for delivering exceptional experiences for all stakeholders at our AFL & AFLW game day events, commercial events, and flagship events.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management, with experience in developing, planning, and executing large-scale events. They will be responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of innovative concepts to exceed client expectations, striving to achieve 100% client retention, increased sales, and showcasing the Port Adelaide Football Club brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and execute all event requirements, including menu selection, developing run sheets, script notes, coordination of talent and content.
- Liaise with all suppliers, coordinate invitations, guest lists, seating, and internal staffing requirements.
- Coordinate and reconcile event financials to ensure that events are delivered within budget.
- Cordinate communications to guests, including EDMs as required, and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders and suppliers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4+ years' experience in event management, preferably in the sporting industry.
- Demonstrated experience in event management, with a strong understanding of customer focus and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- A deep understanding of the power of sport in changing people's lives and the unique challenges and opportunities sport presents.
