A world-class, record-breaking event needs a dedicated team to deliver it. We are hiring for a Player Services Assistant to join our Player Services team to ensure a seamless experience for players during the Australian Open 2026.

This is a full-time fixed-term contract from October 2025 to February 2026. As a seasonal role, we require full availability and flexibility across the summer months, December – February.

About The Role
  • Provide comprehensive support for player services, including the administration of visas, accreditation, accommodation, and other player needs as required in the lead-up to the tournament
  • Ensure a high-level of professional service by promptly directing player inquiries to the relevant tournament areas during the event
  • Monitor communication channels for players and deliver timely updates
  • Assist in the planning, design, and setup of player areas at the AO
  • Support with player gifting and entertainment
  • Support in the supervision of the Player Services Team
  • Assist with the promotion and supervision of Player Activations and Championship Celebrations
  • Offer administrative support in developing training sessions and operational manuals for player services
  • Collaborate with departments and external suppliers
About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively time-manage and prioritise conflicting tasks to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement in situations requiring complex decision-making
  • Highly developed computer skills with experiences in databases and Microsoft suite
  • Proven experience in events, event management, sports administration or similar
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with the event
