Family Support Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Family Support Practitioner. In this role, you will work closely with families to identify their strengths and areas for growth, and develop personalized plans to support them in achieving their goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and family dynamics, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work effectively with families from diverse backgrounds and cultural contexts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct home visits and community outreach to engage with families and assess their needs
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support family growth and development
- Provide education and training on topics such as parenting, child development, and family relationships
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery and referrals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Child Development, or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with families and children in a supportive role
- Strong understanding of child development theory and practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
