Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Assistant Coordinator. As an Assistant Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Service Coordinator with the day-to-day running of the service and management of a team of Educators.

You will be working in a well-supported and well-resourced centre that provides rich, engaging environments for children to explore. Our centre is known for its excellent customer service skills and commitment to providing quality childcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Assist in the development of high-quality programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children.
  • Service Management: Manage the day-to-day running of the programs, ensuring seamless operations and optimal outcomes.
  • Staff Support: Provide support to the Coordinator with staff management, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Administrative Requirements: Undertake administrative tasks efficiently, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • A completed or actively studying relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (Minimum of Diploma in Children Services).
  • Demonstrated experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare.
  • Excellent customer service skills and verbal and written communication skills.
  • First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain.
