The role of an Assistant Coordinator is pivotal in supporting the Service Coordinator with the day-to-day management of the service and team.

As a dedicated member of the management team, you will be responsible for developing quality programs, managing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with policy requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing engaging and educational programs for children;
  • Managing the day-to-day running of programs, including staff supervision and administrative tasks;
  • Supporting the Coordinator with staff management and development initiatives;
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures;
  • Undertaking administrative requirements, including documentation and record-keeping;
  • Collaborating with families and the school community to provide high-quality childcare services.

The successful applicant will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for providing quality childcare. A completed Diploma in Children Services or equivalent qualifications are essential. Additionally, experience in maintaining effective administration and documentation in an OSHC service is highly regarded.
