Project Manager - Medium Voltage Role

We are looking for a skilled project manager to lead and manage Medium Voltage (MV) customer projects and services, ensuring timely delivery, budget maintenance, and superior customer satisfaction.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project specifications and requirements while managing resource schedules (internal and subcontractors).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver projects in accordance with the Eaton Project Management Model.
  2. Manage the relationship with clients and all stakeholders, escalating as required.
  3. Perform risk management and review with PMO manager to minimize project risks.
  4. Review financial obligations, time bars, bank guarantees, and ensure compliance to those requirements.
  5. Review and discuss technical challenges and gaps with engineering team and ensure it is addressed promptly.
  6. Convert commercial and technical gaps to opportunities.
  7. Coordinate and manage project resources e.g. project coordinator and document controller, effectively and deficiently.
  8. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  9. Develop a detailed project plan and schedule to track progress and provide fortnightly updates.
  10. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5+ years' experience in project management in electrical industry.
  • Sound technical knowledge of project systems, tools, and methodologies e.g, SAP.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, reliable, and independent team member.
  • Solid organization and time-management skills.
  • Attention to details and strong logic thinking.
