Power Engineer Leadership Role

The primary objective of this leadership position is to spearhead the technical delivery of high-voltage projects, encompassing all aspects from feasibility to completion. As a key figure in our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of growth and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the primary design of high voltage substations and other related infrastructure, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and accurate documentation and reports, streamlining project execution and enhancing stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement robust design standards, driving excellence and consistency across projects.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks and procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory norms.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise across a broad spectrum of electrical engineering disciplines, including transmission, distribution, and traction power projects.
  • Extensive experience in substation primary engineering, with specialization in HV/EHV substations design (up to 500kV), and ability to apply knowledge to drive project success.
  • Strong understanding of the intricate relationship between design and construction, as well as proficiency in utilizing engineering software for design optimization.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, stakeholder management abilities, and adaptability, enabling effective collaboration and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
