Job Overview

This critical role partners with Sales and Marketing to drive financial performance. You will own the profit-and-loss statement, partner with leadership teams, and deliver sustainable growth through analytical support and insights.

You will be a key supporter, challenger, and decision influencer to leadership teams and Finance Director. Your role involves driving best-in-class commercial capability throughout Sales & Marketing functions.

  • Jointly own profit-and-loss statements and top line growth with Senior Leadership Teams & Middle Leadership Teams.
  • Provide monthly analysis and insights on key performance drivers.
  • Be a primary commercial and financial business partner to sales and marketing teams.
  • Co-own the commercial forecasting cycle and influence risk-mitigation and opportunity implementation.
  • Jointly lead On-Premise contract management, strategy, execution, reporting, and process improvement.
  • Drive improved efficiency, decision making, and systemization in New Product Introduction process, major A&P vendor contract negotiations, and A&P spend management.
  • Lead pricing strategy and monitor price promotion programs and field-led pricing activities.
  • Ensure robust controls are in place and develop an impactful indirect reporting environment.
  • Own NZ profit-and-loss statements, supporting Finance Director, in financial management and forecast of underlying business.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience within Finance and/or Commercial Finance role.
  • Outstanding communication, analytical, business partnering, and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong ability to business partner with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of commercial and Return-on-Growth levers.
