As a Civil Law Expert at Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service, you will have the opportunity to provide expert legal assistance and information directly to clients and external stakeholders.

Your Role in Delivering JusticeYou will be responsible for developing evaluating and implementing culturally safe resources and practices to achieve better justice outcomes for patients of Kambu's clinics. You will also improve the health and well-being of our clients and deliver exceptional legal service.
Key Selection Criteria- Alignment to our values and vision of delivering justice with compassion and respect.
- Admission as a Legal Practitioner within the State of Queensland or eligibility for immediate acquisition of a current Practising Certificate.
- Sound interpersonal communication skills including conveying sound advice to clients with empathy and understanding.
- An in-depth working knowledge of key legislation and procedures across a range of laws.
- A commitment to work after hours if necessary to ensure access to justice for all.
