Job Description

About the Role: This position offers a unique opportunity to provide wellbeing support to students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support, first aid, student data management, and general administrative duties.
  • Assess student needs, develop strategies to address them, and monitor students requiring additional support.
  • Manage First Aid supplies across campus, ensuring they are adequate and well-maintained.
  • Collaborate with parents regarding Health Management Plans and Action Plans.
  • Dispense medication to students as required, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to protocols.
  • Work with the State Schools Nursing Service to access additional support for students' health plans.
  • Contribute to team discussions about student trends and patterns, providing valuable insights.
  • Build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective wellbeing support.
  • Perform general administrative duties as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Familiarity with First Aid principles and practices.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
