About the Role: This position offers a unique opportunity to provide wellbeing support to students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support, first aid, student data management, and general administrative duties.
- Assess student needs, develop strategies to address them, and monitor students requiring additional support.
- Manage First Aid supplies across campus, ensuring they are adequate and well-maintained.
- Collaborate with parents regarding Health Management Plans and Action Plans.
- Dispense medication to students as required, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to protocols.
- Work with the State Schools Nursing Service to access additional support for students' health plans.
- Contribute to team discussions about student trends and patterns, providing valuable insights.
- Build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective wellbeing support.
- Perform general administrative duties as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Familiarity with First Aid principles and practices.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
