We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our Mt Isa Warehouse Team on a permanent Monday to Friday basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, maintaining inventory accuracy, and meeting system targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking, packing, storing, and dispatching materials within the warehouse to ensure accurate inventory levels and meet or exceed system targets.">
  • Participating in warehouse activities, including stock takes, maintenance, improvements, administration, and monthly reordering of consumables.">
  • Contributing to the provision of a safe working environment by adhering to our occupational health, safety, and environmental culture, policies, and programs.">
  • Enhancing our reputation as a preferred supplier by ensuring timely and safe delivery of materials and services to internal and external customers.

As a Warehouse Operations Specialist with Hastings Deering, you can expect a competitive hourly rate, competency-based pay increases, employee discounts, rewards, and incentive programs.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience working in a high-volume warehouse environment, strong customer focus, good communication skills, intermediate computer skills, and the ability to work within a team and unsupervised with excellent time management skills.

A Forklift Licence is a bonus, and knowledge of CAT and associated products, parts, and services is highly advantageous.

">

Salary: $28-$32 per hour, depending on experience
