Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the engineering and design aspects of mineral processing projects, including conceptual design, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering for Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, providing technical expertise, guidance, and mentorship to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Ensure technical approval and sign-off of the project's engineering and design.
  • Collaborate with Functional Managers (Mechanical / Civil & Structural / Electrical and Instrumentation) to guarantee positive project outcomes from a technical and schedule perspective.
  • Partner with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes, and deliver customized solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies, focusing on health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team, promoting innovation, excellence, and professional development.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Process, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in discipline engineering within a mineral processing EPCM environment, with proven success in a leadership role. Experience in Gold, Rare Earths, or Nickel is advantageous.
  • Strong technical expertise in mineral processing principles, technologies, and equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of engineering deliverables to support demanding project schedules.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion, emphasizing safety, technical quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a strong emphasis on planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.

Salary Estimate: $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
