We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to join our team in Africa. This is a unique opportunity for professionals who enjoy working on long-term mineral processing projects.

Lycopodium Limited is a leading engineering and project delivery services company with operations across the globe, including Africa, Australia, Canada, and the Philippines.

This role involves providing specialist advice and technical support to ensure projects are delivered professionally and safely. As a Field Engineer, you will work closely with our Construction Manager to ensure compliance with Company, Client, and industry requirements.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Ensuring site Field Engineering services meet high standards in line with Company, Client, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
  • Managing work procedures, practices, and plans of the Field Engineering Services teams to ensure deliverables are met accurately.
  • Providing primary contact for all project technical support and liaising with the engineering team to resolve issues.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A University degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • At least 2 years' post-graduate experience in Mineral Processing projects on remote sites or in a similar industry.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid technical aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively supervise a diverse team.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment.
  • Willingness to provide mentoring and identify avenues for professional development.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and colleagues.

This is a rotational role with a 6 weeks on/2 weeks off roster. The estimated annual salary for this position is $**120,000-$150,000**, depending on experience and qualifications.
